We are so pleased to say we have electricity on site and we will indeed be able to open to members this coming Bank Holiday weekend. The car park gates and front entrance to the club will be unlocked on Saturday morning at 7:00am, where we will invite all members (including off peak members) back in for a 3 day Bank Holiday members appreciation weekend. The opening hours will be 7:00am – 8:00pm for the Bank Holiday weekend and will then return to normal from Tuesday 29th August.
It’s so exciting to be able to have you back at the facility and the staff cannot wait to see you all again at Riverhills. As stated last week we will have open the gym, changing rooms, café bar, and the treatment rooms – with the studio re-opening Tuesday 29th August. It is just the lower studio and pool hall that will remain out of action for the coming months.
So please come and see us over the weekend and we will be sharing a complimentary drink and nibbles, as well as a ½ price spa treatment* for those that wish to book in for one. Please come in and see what we have done in the gym and try out the new top of the range Technogym equipment. We will have the gym team there to assist and guide throughout the weekend – we know you will love it. We are even confident that if you want to give it a go in the gym for the first time you will enjoy it too! The gym team won’t push you too hard if it’s a new experience for you so give it a go – walk on the treadmill with the visual back drop of the coastal cliffs of the Algarve or cycle through the forests of the French Alps as you immerse yourself in the stunning scenery – you’ll hardly notice you are exercising at all!
Also – the great news is we will not be charging you for membership in September! Once we have finalised the ongoing subscriptions we will communicate these to you but you have the whole month to use the Club for free.
A few other things to note:
We will only have the gate open at the front of the main car park, for entrance and exit – the back car park will be closed. We also ask that people park in the bays and do not block the lanes for other users and contractors passing through.
